You may attend four of the offered sessions, which last about 15 minutes.

Admissions and Scholarships – Learn more about the admissions requirements and the scholarships available to freshman.

Adventure WV – Learn more about Adventure WV, the Outdoor Rec Center and other exciting trips.

Financial Aid – Learn about the time line for receiving financial aid and what to expect.

Housing & Residential Education – Learn about the opportunities awaiting you in WVU’s residence halls.

Mountaineer Parents Club – Learn how to stay connected to your WVU student through the Mountaineer Parents Club. The Parents Club provides families with valuable information and services to make ensure student success.

Safety – Presented by the University Police Department learn more about campus safety and security and the free crime prevention and awareness programs they offer to students.

Student PanelWVU students will offer advice about how to succeed during your freshman year and answer questions.

Career Services – Students that are sure of their major need to start their career plan right away. For students that are undecided about their major or find that they want to change majors, but are not sure how or to what, the Center will provide formal assistance through interest inventories administered and evaluated by a licensed professional counselor.

We want your visit to meet your needs. Optional Activities will be available for certain majors. Some of these may include, but are not limited to: a question and answer session with the College of Engineering and Mineral Resources, a visit to the Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism, a visit to the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design, a visit to the School of Pharmacy, a visit to the College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and a visit to the College of Creative Arts.
